Hi everyone!
My name is Peter and I am an experienced women’s and men’s personal stylist with a major passion for colour, design, and eclectic style!
I have been a Personal Stylist for the past 20 years and have dressed celebrities such as Kylie Minogue, Annie Lennox, Minnie Driver, Myleene Klaas, amongst others (on my travels!)
My speciality is in ‘Colour Analysis’, the process of distinguishing which colours work the best for your natural complexion.
I am also a Colour Analysis Tutor at the world famous ‘London College of Style’ and my mentor is the ‘Colour Counsellor’ Jules Standish.
I trained in Womenswear Fashion Design at Manchester Metropolitan University and on the MA in Womenswear at Central Saint Martin’s, under Louise Wilson’s tutelege.
I have a pre-apprenticeship in Savile Row Bespoke Tailoring. So I have an eye and knowledge for quality and craftsmanship.
After my University studies, I became a Costumier for the World Famous ‘Angels Costumiers’ in Hendon, North London.
I worked for the best vintage emporium in the world….the legendary ‘Steinberg & Tolkien’. In this shop on the Kings Road I would get hands on experience of true ‘vintage’ couture dresses and stock bought from auctions such as Christies and Sotheby’s. Chanel, Valentino, Ossie Clarke and Biba…
I have made and style dresses for celebrities such as Bjork and her ‘Biophilia’ choir and Roisin Murphy.
I have designed for major hair campaigns such as L’Oréal and Angelo Seminara, whilst maintaining my own couture line ‘Studio PJKane’.
Moreover, I was first trained in Colour analysis by London College of Style’s very own Jules Standish as I styled clients for retail giant John Lewis alongside personal clientele.
I presented Style Talks through the John Lewis website on a national scale, cementing myself as ‘Mr Colour’!
‘I love to bring my colour and style knowledge and fashion history into each appointment and build confidence within all my clients – people are my passion and knowing how to help them understand themselves through the simple ‘art of dressing’ keeps me inspired day to day’.
My passion is always fashion and ‘Personal Style’.
One of my favourite quotes by Coco Chanel is:
“Trends come and go, but style remains!”
I feel that we have to synchronise how you feel on the inside with how we you look on the outside, until then you can’t be yourself, fully!
