Cerulean Blue

Hi Colouristas! ๐ŸŒˆ Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthDay …so it’s a good reminder to just be aware of how your family and friends are doing. If you see anyone struggling….let them know you are there for them. ๐Ÿ’ I always love that saying “If you’re not around your loved ones, then love the ones closest to you! Take care of them”. ๐Ÿ™ We are all the same flesh and bone and a pumping heart. All we want is happiness & love! So I think of one of my favourite ‘free’ tools to uplift ourselves and that is…..the power of Colour. I have files and files worth of information on various shades of colour that I’ve collected over the years so why don’t I share the ‘shades’ and histories of their names with you! Mr Colour here I go! ๐Ÿ’™When I think of a Colour that helps ‘sooth’ all of our spirit it is Blue. I’ve chosen Cerulean Blue because it’s the shade we ALL look at for inspiration…even on our down days. ๐Ÿ’™’Cerulean’ word comes from the Latinย caeruleus, meaning dark blue caelum โ€“ which in turn derives fromย caelulum, meaning heaven or sky. ๐Ÿ’™’Keep your head to the sky’ is another favourite phrase of mine and no wonder it helps out with optimism. That infinite stretch of Cerulean blue, making us realise….our dreams are endless and everything is possible! If you wear lighter blues it can uplift and give you a feeling of hope and possibility I hope you’ve taken some inspiration from this and feel calmer. Take it easy on yourself, regardless of whichever day it is! ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›โค๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’œ Peterย
